It's cold here! Been in the 20s during the night for the last 3 night's. Had a good weekend with sun during the day and in the 40s. I can't get Sheri out of the garden. She is really having a good time in her yard and flower's are coming up all over the place. I'll get some pictures for later this week. Boating season will be opening soon. Still haven't got my RC airplane. Have to make sure I get the right beginner plane for me.

Here is our Salmon. He stays with this park most of the time, going to parades and events around the county. The fellow below is Dennis. As you can see he is a RC flier and used to have our job here. I'm very interested in this hobby and there is a large group here that fly's often. I hope to be one of them soon.

Well, here we are at our new park. It's a county park just 8 miles south of Port Townsend. There is no charge to use the park and it is open from sun up to sun set. Lots of walking trails and we have our own creek and salmon run. Not bad! Sheri is busy planting flowers and "things". The dog's love it because we have a fenced in yard so they can play. Smoky is barking at everybody who passes by so we have ordered a non invasive no bark colar, we will see. More tomorrow.

So! As I was trying to take my nap this afternoon it suddenly felt like we were sliding off of the cliff just outside our front door. When I looked this is what I saw. They were doing rescue practice on this fine sunny day. It's a perfect place to practice for them. By the way, they did rescue the dummy they threw out the door earlier.

Smoky

Smoky in his favorite place. I can't go out without taking him along. We will be leaving here in two weeks. Got a new job as caretakers of a county park. It's more long term and almost across the street from our ESP park. Sheri will have a fenced in, grass yard and all of the garden she can handle. As soon as we get moved I will post pictures. No ocean views but the park is beautiful.
Well, you cant tell it very well but it's a Stormy day here in the North West. This is looking from the north west down the Hood Canal to the south east. The wind is blowing at 30mph with higher gusts. I never get tired of this view. There aren't a lot of ships out now but when the tied turns they will start to move.

Well, I'm back. I don't know what happened but I couldn't get my pictures to publish. This is a picture of the after torpedo room on the USS Croaker, SSK246. I spent 4 years of my life on this WW2 fleet type submarine. It was one of the best experiences of all time. We are still at Fort Flagler. Winter is still here and we are warm and cozy in the Airstream.
We lost our pet, Barnaby last week. Not sure what happened but Sheri had her for 26 years and its been very hard for both of us. I'll be back with new pictures soon.
