Here is Sheri, on the mend. This was last week and she is up and running around now. She and Smoky spent a lot of time together and now have a very strong bond. Sheri wanted to thank everybody for their good wishes and prayers. She goes tomorrow for another MRI on her eyes then we hope to have a decision from the eye Dr. on her eye surgery.

Well, we have spent the last two days at the Dr. offices. Sheri had her stitches out and almost completed her eye MRI. She is doing fine, according to her doctor's. We go back in the middle of July to get checked on, then I hope we are done with everything but her eye's.

I just wanted to give you an update on Sheri's progress. She is doing much better. We have no problems with her incision and her sore throat is gone. This Thursday we see her surgeon and Endo. Dr.. Then in the afternoon she will have a MRI on her eyes. She will be better than new.

Sheri came home from the hospital yesterday. everything went well and she is getting ready for eye surgery. We will keep you posted.

Sorry, no pictures today. Sheri is getting ready for surgery this Wednesday and we are really busy. Been at the different Drs. offices almost every day and there is allot of driving to get back and forth. She will come home on Thursday if all goes well. I'll keep you posted. Went to the undersea warfare museum yesterday. It's only about 12 miles south of us and is an easy drive. While walking around I turned a corner and here was a large model of my first boat when I was in the navy. This is the USS Croaker, SSK246. I spent 3 years aboard and we traveled about 25,000 miles. Remember this was in the 1960s and the cold war and Vietnam was going strong. We were based out of Groten Conn. but we weren't there much. Good times

Well we went to the eye doctor yesterday. It appears that Sheri will have to have eye surgery. She is going in for a MRI on her eyes next Thursday. We don't know which surgery will be first, eye's or thyroid. I'll keep you posted.
